The Whirlwind Fighter Project; this association has set itself the task of recreating "a majestic fighter of WWII". Of all the warbird projects that exist, this is one of the most imaginitive and worthy ones. If you are a fan of the "Crikey" I can only recommend that you join and give what support you can.

Cross and Cockade is a fascinating site for anyone truly interested in WWI aviation. Detailed histories of WWI aircraft, beautifully presented. And the people who write its history sections are most helpful to anyone with a query.
